Alex Iovita – Artist Biography
I’m Alex Iovita — an electronic music producer and DJ. Since I was a kid, I’ve had a deep connection with music.
At 5 years old, I was blasting tracks from a cassette player on the third floor, singing like the whole neighborhood was my stage. Some peeked out their windows, some smiled, some just listened. No mic, no stage — just instinct and passion.

I used to record songs from the TV with cables and a tape deck, then play them on repeat. Even then, I felt music wasn’t just sound — it was something deeper. A language. A release.

In 2011, I opened my first music production software. No plan, just love. That love became my path. I taught myself — through mistakes, obsession, and exploration.

I discovered new genres along the way. My sound became a blend of everything — shaped by emotion, not trends. I care about atmosphere. Feeling. Story.

I’ve released 100+ tracks and remixes, played in DJ sets across Romania, Europe, and the U.S. My work’s been supported by underground radio, curated playlists, and people who value music with soul over hype.

Producing and DJing aren’t just hobbies — they’re therapy.
