Alex Kane is a songwriter, artist and producer born and raised in Detroit, MI. His love for music and production started early on as a child, on the west side of Detroit. His first encounter with hip hop was witnessing his older cousins freestyling in a cypher on the front porch. The energy and rawness influenced Kane to write his own music. He would then record his rhymes into his Aunt’s mini tape recorder, with music from his favorite video games serving as the instrumentals. This led him to fall in love with production, as he taught himself on the PlayStation MTV Music Generator. He would continue to work on his craft, work with artists around Detroit, and intern in professional studios. In 2018, Kane released his first instrumental project, Trap Island. Influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:5K4W6rqBFWDnAN6FQUkS6x" data-name="Kanye West">Kanye West</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4njwwcumLelgJjjlQB4eYl" data-name="Key Wane">Key Wane</a>, Kane looks to also become a production heavyweight in the very near future.
