Alex Kayes takes pride in putting 110% of himself into his DJ sets and his original music. Filled with energy and with his goal in mind, Alex Kayes is determined to change the dance music scene one step at a time.
While being classically trained on the violin, Alex's passion for music started at a very young age. When introduced to dance music, he had found his lifelong passion. Trying to combine the two worlds, between melodic, classical music and hard hitting electronic beats, he's sure to leave quite the impression.
Early in his career, Alex Kayes already has quite a few impressive feats as a DJ and Producer. He has had the opportunity to support artists such as Benny Benassi, Audien, Dyro, and Breathe Carolina just to name a few. He has gotten much support on his music from local San Diego artists and local collectives. Not to mention, Alex is also a resident DJ at Insomniac partnered club, Bassmnt Nightclub in the heart of the Gaslamp District in San Diego.
