Alex Meireles

Addicted to electronic music since childhood, Alex Meireles has channeled his passion into a dynamic career as a Tech House producer and DJ. Born in Brazil and now based in the UK, Alex's journey began in 2011 when he decided to train as a DJ after years of immersing himself in the club scene. By 2012, he embarked on his studies as a music producer, laying the foundation for his distinctive sound.

In 2013, Alex co-founded Mindbreaker with friends, a collective that quickly gained traction in the local scene. His debut EP, Crazy, was released in 2016, followed by the single Find That Little Knob in 2017, which broke into the Beatport Top 100, marking his first major chart success, reaching #65.

Alex's music is heavily influenced by industry giants like Solardo, Dennis Cruz, Marco Carola, and Detlef. These influences are evident in his infectious grooves, deep basslines, and captivating melodies, making his tracks a staple on dance floors around the world.

In addition to his personal achievements, Alex is the proud owner of a major festival in Brazil, also named Mindbreaker, which has become a cornerstone of the Brazilian electronic music scene. Currently, Alex is back in the studio, working on new tunes that promise to push the boundaries of Tech House even further.
