Alex Rios

Alex Rios is a Swedish/Peruvian music producer and recording artist based in Sweden. Alex started making music at the age of 12, after listening to the likes of Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound and 2 Pac he started imitating his favourite rappers and playing along with the instrumentals on a cheap Casio keyboard.

"I grew up in a musicians family, my dad was a guitarist and my mom was a singer, but it wasn't until I heard Funk and West Coast rap that I truly felt my calling to music."

At 13, he formed a rap group with his friends but since buying beats was not possible at the time he created his own, for the group initially and after building a local reputation he went on to produce for other artists as well.

Fast forwarding the tape, In 2017 he decided to go independent and establish himself as an online producer. By putting out music and creating producer-focused content on social media, Instagram in particular, Alex has grown a small community and continues to build a strong online presence.

Alex diverse taste in music is reflected in his style of production, covering almost all urban styles, from Afrobeat/Reggaeton to R&B and Trap.
He describes his music as a combination of catchy melodies and heartfelt beats with inspiration from Afro, Latin and early 90’s Hip Hop and Funk.
