Alex Vargas

Born to a family of musicians, his mother’s death triggers world travel. He plays as a street musician in Europe, marries in Denmark, becomes a father and starts band The World. Three albums later, he moves to California and completes a multiple award winning international feature film before he returns to Denmark in 2021.
~ In 1987-91 Alex Vargas fronts rock band The World in Denmark, Japan, LA, France, Sweden and Germany. Japan wins Alex and the band a 2nd price at the Yamaha Explosion Rock competition world finals, and Alex changes the line up.
~ In 93, Alex, Bass player Holmefjord and Drummer Rothaus release first album "Mirror", based on Alex's songs.
~ In 96, Alex writes new songs and plays them with Nat Russel in New York venues. Back in Denmark, Alex, Christian Veitner (bass) and Bjarne Holm (drums) rehearse 6 days, record with Don Martin in 2 days and mix in 1 day. After 2 concerts Alex stops playing due to the end of the relationship that fueled the content of his first 2 albums.
~ In 2002 Alex records album “Rollerwave”.
~ In 2003 Alex moves to San Francisco, opens a production company, writes, shoots and directs a multi-award winning international feature film, and completes new album “Element” to be released in 2024.
~ In 2021 Album “VARGAS remix” is released followed by music video A New World.
~ In 2023 , after it's re-production, 
album "Rollerwave" and single "Roller" are released.
