Alex Watts & the Foreign Tongue are an indie rock band from Melbourne, Australia. They were active from 2010-2015, during which time they toured relentlessly earning a dedicated fanbase across Australia and released several well-received singles. Singer and songwriter Alex Watts then disbanded the band to focus on a solo career, with his debut album, Another Step in the Dark, released in 2016.
