Alexa Dragu is a 21 years old Romanian singer-songwriter. Spending her childhood summers between the outskirts of her picturesque town of Bistrita and the bucolic charm of the french city of Besançon, Alexa was infused by her french grandfather, a visual artist himself, with a deep appreciation for the world of arts
Alexa started taking guitar lessons from an early age before deciding to study music at the School of Music “Tudor Jarda” from her native city of Bistrita. Currently, she is a student at the University of Bucharest, where she is getting her diploma in Sociology in English. Taking a step forward, in 2018 she decided to audition for The Voice of Romania, making all four judges turn their chairs with her rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “I Never Loved a Man”.
