Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Los Angeles native Alexa Guyton started her musical journey writing poems and singing in her school choir. As a child, Guyton followed her mother Triniere around the house, singing along with her as she practiced for Barry White's "The Icon is Love" tour.
At age 13, her affinity towards music deviated ー to a newfound talent in dance. By senior year of high school, she was awarded Best Female Dancer of her class and Most Creative Choreography. Despite recognition as a dancer, it was Guyton's rapper and producer friends that unwittingly sparked her interest in music once more. She began writing and recording, cultivating a soothing mellifluous tone alongside sleek, drum-riddled production. Guyton offers a fresh sound, paired with a desire to convey God's unspeakable love and comfort through her music. Her debut full-length album, Solace, released in 2021. The composition is entirely produced by her brother, Robert Guyton II.
