Alexander Lövmark is a Swedish jazz vocalist and composer. A entertainer and a scat-wizard who's
newest album LITTLE BIRD comes out January 13 2023. It is a tribute to his lifelong love to the American Songbook!
Stockholm born Alexander took to the stage at a young age with a solopart in Mozarts "The Magic Flute" at the Royal Swedish Opera House. That was a start of a jazz career. In 2017 Lövmark had a breakthrough, winning the Montreux Jazz Festival Competition, his debut album Perfect Storm (produced by <a href="spotify:artist:672mzOfn0sZtuiewcGXnsI" data-name="Vanessa Liftig">Vanessa Liftig</a>) was released 2018 featuring star tenorist <a href="spotify:artist:56qrzp61GEif1i0UjqkHrz" data-name="Melissa Aldana">Melissa Aldana</a>. In 2021 he received the Monica Zetterlund award, a big prize for Swedish Jazz Artists.
Alexanders influences stretch over a wide field, from <a href="spotify:artist:4uBSazM6snEc9wCG3jMlYt" data-name="Pat Metheny Group">Pat Metheny Group</a>´s cinematic compositions, <a href="spotify:artist:1UhC1mCcd9SFXLibHhMX61" data-name="Kurt Elling">Kurt Elling</a>'s groundbreaking modern vocal jazz to <a href="spotify:artist:253GMpCNwx1TJtASNAeDoP" data-name="Kurt Rosenwinkel">Kurt Rosenwinkel</a>'s innovative contemporary jazz. He is currently composing music to follow up his debut and can be heard in many musical contexts, one being with the jazz vocal group <a href="spotify:artist:1wPx1s4sC10JAtfBg1aFf2" data-name="Stockholm Voices">Stockholm Voices</a>
