Alexander's Festival Hall is the literary-minded, romantically uptempo project of Alexander Mayor. He started out in Euro popsters Baxendale in the early 2000s before shifting gears to the jazzier, regret-tinged sound of AFH. First album 'Not a Dry Eye in London' came out in 2013. The follow-up, 'Not From Above!' dropped in July 2019, accompanied by a book of stories, published by Unbound Books. A veritable mixed-media feast, it's a series of stories and songs, that capture the stranger ways we live today.
