Alexandr

Alexandr is an indie electronic music composer and producer from Athens, Greece.
Labeled as experimental alternative/ indie or ambient pop, his songs vary from cinematic piano songs to guitar-driven house beats and everything in between. As a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he uses a variety of instruments and sounds although his love for the piano is a bit more prominent. Another unique characteristic of his sound is the usage of field recordings to create ambience and a layer of imperfection contradicting the crisp perfection of computer-based electronic music.
His main influences are Bon Iver, Olafur Arnalds, Ry X, Tycho among many experimental artists and composers.
His musical journey starts way back in his teens where he first started playing the guitar. In his early 20s, he started playing house music as a DJ and that’s where his curiosity for production started taking shape by doing remixes of his favorite songs to enrich his DJ sets. Since he quit Djing, he focused on learning more about production and shaping his sound and productions. Being a music gear nerd, he started experimenting with synthesizers, effect pedals, and weird sound recordings and that led to his first album “Better Late”. A year after that, he released his second album “Never Late” alongside an album made for film and TV for his sync agency in London, UK.
Alexandr is currently working on his third full-length album.
