Alex Urias was born and raised in San Angelo, TX. Alex's father was a musician, so it didn't take long for Alex to find an interest in music. Alex's first live gig was playing the drums with his dad at the age of 12. Played on stage with well known Tejano artists such as Gilbert "El Coyote " De Anda at the age of 14 and Bobby "El Charro Negro" Butler. Alex did a service duty with the USMC fresh out of high school. "Not really sure why I joined the Marines back then, but it was one heck of an experience" according to Alex. Alex played in several genres of music over the years before taking a decade or two of R&R from the music scene to see the grandkids growing up and decided to come back and give it another go round and record some of his own music in hopes of establishing entertainment value for others as music has given him. Alex now resides in the DFW area and is currently working on more material to release for your enjoyment.
