Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Alexis was influenced by her rich cultural
background, with her mother from Omaha and her father from Guanajuato,
Mexico. She began singing and playing the violin and guitar at the age of 6.
Alexis’s musical journey started early when her father, hearing her scream as a
newborn, predicted she would become a singer. By age 6, her talent was evident,
and she joined a mariachi school and a children's mariachi band called "Las
Estrellitas" performing traditional Mexican music in various venues around town.
Her career highlights include her debut single, a cover of "I Speak Jesus" which
has garnered 3.4 million views and continues to grow. Alexis has had the honor
of performing the national anthem for Warren Buffet and Tom Osborn at just 10
years old. She’s had the honor of touring with Los Tigres Del Norte, one of the
most popular and influential bands in the history of Latin music. She also
regularly sings with the Omaha Symphony. Her mariachi band received
recognition at the Omaha Entertainment Arts Awards.
