Alexis “Lexos” Chang is a 23-year-old music producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, DJ, engineer, & creative director based in Los Angeles, NYC, and New Haven, CT. She is an ardent member and leader within her communities, and hopes to make space for more QTBIPOC artists like herself.
Since starting to produce beats at 14, Lexos has since released two self-produced, written, mixed and mastered singles, as well as gaining production credits on a number of projects since 2017. These include LA rapper Cee Ayy Cee’s ’ “Fallin’ Down” (2017), Rochester NY’s Montreal’s R&B hit “X,” (2020) and most recently, the original score for the short film “Veritas Obscura” (2025).
Her latest release is an 8 song demo tape, “Tha Lexos Demos!” (August 2024), a culmination of demos ranging from 2021-2024. The project is fully produced, written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Lexos. A recent graduate of Occidental College, Lexos is working as a producer and instrumentalist for various labels, and is currently on track to release her own original beat tape.
Starting in Spring 2021, Alexis has performed at highly-esteemed venues and events such as Brooklyn Museum’s First Saturdays as a guitarist for genre-bending artist Felukah. In March 2022, after moving to Los Angeles for college, Alexis had the opportunity to open for BET-nominated artist Flo Milli. Since then, Lexos has been lucky to grace the decks of venues such as The Sultan Room, House of Yes, and Littlefield.
