Alexis Kanter

Hi! I'm Alexis Kanter. A few years ago, I left my hometown, Rosario, and made a new home in Valle de Traslasierra, in Córdoba. I traded the city’s buzz for the calm of the mountain foothills, where I finally found silence.
Living in this landscape brings a kind of comfort—but it also blocks the view of the horizon. It’s like a great wall that invites you to turn inward. That move set me on a path of introspection and reflection, which slowly began to take shape as songs.
At 42, it felt like I finally moved the stone that had been blocking the river—and once the water started flowing, inspiration came with it. That journey brought me to Mudanza al Interior, my first album (Label: Club del Disco, 2022).
Between 2023 and 2024, continuing this personal journey, I composed my second album, Disco en construcción (Label: Club del Disco, 2025).
I’ve been lucky to share stages and studio time with artists I truly admire: Mariano Braun, Juan Iñaki, Palo Pandolfo, Marita Londra, Fernando Silva, Sebastián Macchi, Claudio Bolzani, Dario Acosta Teich, Dúo Riosentí, Marcelo Petetta, Cecilia Abecasis, José Galvano, Germán Roffler, Sandra Peralta, Leandro Cacioni, León Gieco, Daniel Kalbermatten, Cecilia Tagliarini, Israel Torres, the string chamber quartet of the province of Santa Fe, Claudio Martinez, and Chiclo Juan Manuel Mattus.
