Alexis Kwaben masterfully tells stories through dynamic and emotive music. As a composer, sound engineer, and storyteller from Chicagoland, she breathes life into collaborative media projects that illuminate the beauty and challenges of humanity, diversity, and individuality.

Fueled by a genuine love for storytelling and sound, nurtured by a childhood immersed in books, theater, and games, Alexis is deeply committed to inspiring new audiences and empowering diverse narratives. Guided by her passion for fostering diversity in media, she aims to preserve the open-minded wonder, courage, and curiosity reminiscent of childhood.

Her work spans projects for Disney, DreamWorks, HBO Max, Warner Bros., and Netflix, across film, TV, theater, games, and live events. Alexis' contributions have been recognized by PBS and honored at festivals such as the Big Apple, Chicago International Children’s, and Prague International Film Festivals.

Outside of the studio, she loves to relax with her nose buried in a book, playing games, babying her plants, and dancing the night away! However, when not on the ground, Alexis can be found scaling trees and capturing wild birds in her hands.
