Aliaga emerges in Lima-Peru by the end of 2018 as a project that reacts to the convulsed South American political context. As a form of expression to interpret their reality, the band led by Giancarlo Melgar (vocals) and Eduardo Yalán (guitar) blends the sound and aesthetics of Grindcore with the dissonant atmosphere of Black Metal.
At the beginning of 2019 the band joined forces with Daniel Santome (bass) with whom they recorded and released their first self-titled demo which was well received by the local and international scene.
Around October of the same year, they started working on new material but this time they decided to collaborate with producer Pedro Zamalloa aiming to improve their production and expand their sound. Between November and December of 2019 their new single “Crepitación del Lenguaje” was produced, mixed and then sent to Dominik "Pumpa" König from DPK Studios (Stillbirth, Voracious, Visions of Disfigurement) in Germany for the final mastering stage. The track was then released on January 2020 which once again was very well received by a broad audience.
This time tho, it caught the attention of Ruben Torres from the argentine band System Destroyer who offered the band to feature on a South American 3-way split along with Pancreatite Noise Grind (Bra). With that new goal in mind, the band went back to the studio to work on new songs for the split. This release was titled “The virus of Lies Manipulating all Lifes”, which was released on July 2020.
