Aliddeki Brian is a versatile recording artist, educator, and Uganda traditional multi-instrumentalist, whose music embodies the essence of world folk from Uganda.
Driven by his passion for music, he pursued his undergraduate studies at the African Institute of Music, specializing in contemporary jazz guitar, and subsequently embarked on a successful career as a live performer and guitarist in Kampala.
Beyond his regular appearances at concerts and live shows, Aliddeki has graced renowned stages such as the Blankets and Wine Kampala Festival, Nyege Nyege Festival, Fete Dela Musique Kampala, Afropalooza Festival,One Song Concert all emerged in the year (2022), not to mention Sofar events in Kampala, Kigali, and London (2021 & 2023), among others.
With a foundation in traditional troupe performances, Aliddeki captivates audiences with his unique musical style infused with authentic Ugandan flavors. Influenced by jazz, world music, and pop, his diverse repertoire and songwriting prowess set him apart, making him a significant contributor to the Ugandan cultural landscape.
Aliddeki Brian embarked on the "ALIDDEKI East African Tour" in 2023, representing Uganda across Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, and Congo, with support from the Institut Français. Furthermore, he recently showcased his talent at the prestigious 2024 edition of the Sauti za Busara festival in Zanzibar.
Aliddeki is currently on a SOUTHERN AFRICA TOUR.
