Drawing great satisfaction from composing music, Alina Kiya (Alina K) has played the piano from a young age. She studied music at the J Karoso school of music in Klaipeda, Lithuania where she was born and raised.
Alina Kiya is inspired by the masters of classical music from Tchaikovsky to Beethoven, Chopin to Vivaldi as well as drawing influences from contemporary composers as Einaudi, Yanni and Robert Miles.
Her first foray into the classical crossover world of contemporary Chill Out and club music was the Release, on her own label “Estamos Records” of the track “Walking Your Path”.
The original composition was remixed by Full Intention and promoted throughout the world to critical acclaim. With massive support from key chill out radio stations and DJ’s resulted in the track charting in the UK club charts and reaching Number 1 on the Traxsource chill out charts, a position it has maintained for seven months since its release.
