At the very early age, Alivia Jasim started learning first lesson of instrument & vocal music from her mother. Her mother is a regular disciple of Composer Anol Chattopadhyay. Then at the age of ten, Alivia Jasim as was in search of a more talented teacher found and joined his classes of Sri Utpal Bhattacharyya, who is a disciple of famous vocal maestro Pandit A.T. Kanan. There she got talim for 14 years on Indian Classical music and also she took parallel training on Bhajan, Ghazal. Afterwards she had also undergone through light music, film music, studio singing & special vocal training under music composer/arranger Robin Ganguli. She has took some western music training also. Now she getting some lessons On Ghazal from Baloo Dutta. Alivia Jasim staged lots of mass-concerning programmes being invited in Television Channels and musical interview at Radio stations, newspaper etc. She has sung for various ad jingles, filmy and non-filmy tracks through some great music directors. Her most popular track Mon Behaya Pakhi as her independent work, also her voice used in a beautiful Rabindrasangeet from the most popular web series from Zee5 রক্তকরবী (Raktokarobi), her voice used also on A R Rahman documentry film by O2 India platform. She staged several programmes & different social functions in and surrounding Kolkata. She achieved much popularity by some major media of Kolkata.
Her tours to other states in this regard are very successful achieving the massive public acceptance.
