AlJacques

AlJacques is an aspiring Indianapolis-born artist recognized for versatility of genres with a focus on the melodic rap sound of the digital age. At 21 years of age, he is just starting to shift the game. At first, he would merely have fun freestyling over beats. Then, after exploring the world of vocal engineering and mixing in line with growing interest for underground/melodic rap music he formulated his own persona. He also collaborates with local underground artists such as Fi$her Veneta and the Bartio Collective members. In late 2021, he released a track with BIGBABYGUCCI and Vyze titled “East 10.”

In the album titled “Activation,” released March 2022, he redevelops his sound through the use of unique vocal cadences. Each new release features a unique set of vocal deliveries meant to encapsulate emotional tendencies. In his body of work titled “Lead The Storm,” AlJacques introduces 10 songs, including the singles “Left Behind” and “Crystal Ball” ahead of a compilation project called “The Storm” which released in August 2023. AlJacques has also featured as both a recording artist and mixing engineer in several Bartio Collective project’s such as JG’s 2022 album “Burning Bridges,” J-Mez247’s recent mixtape “Bïg Prïme,” and more to come. In 2024 and beyond, AlJacques’ focus is to differentiate his sound from the underground scene through rigorously ambitious solo projects while continuing to foster collaboration with other young, emerging artists in the Midwest.
