Allan Portera

Allan is a New Jersey based musical artist, producer, singer, songwriter and sound designer. Growing up in Jersey, he was surrounded by music from a very young age and started playing the acoustic guitar around the age of 8. After living in New York City for 10 years and graduating The School of Visual Arts, Allan had endless opportunities to work creatively, honing his craft as a musician, entrepreneur and artist. In 2015, Allan started his own business in music education and from that point forward, he never looked back.

In 2019, Allan was faced with a life threatening experience which has shaped his creative destiny forever. In 2021, he began writing and producing his own music as an outlet for his own life experiences. Allan continues to grow, with a strong determination to create his own style and genre of music. On July 16th 2021, Allan released his debut album as a solo artist titled “Best Friends”. Allan has now released 2 full length albums, 1 EP, and 30 singles to date.

Allan is relentlessly devoted to creating his own music, drawing from a wide variety of influences, both old and new. He has utilized his sensibilities as a musical artist to create a sound that is truly unique and timeless.
