Ally Vyne is an American rapper from Mount Vernon New York. She’s made Prince George's County, Maryland her home since 2004. She's known for her lyrics because she doesn't shy away from politics, religion, and social issues. She admits to wearing her heart on her sleeve and believes it's what helps her connect to fans. Ally Vyne stated "when you reach my age (yes, I'm old), you don't worry about being accepted by the cool people or liked by trendsetters. You say what your heart feels and drop the mic."
Her first album titled; "American Winter" was released January 2022. It’s a snapshot of the violence & greed in America and provides a snapshot, of what life is like, for a new artist, trying to maintain their ethics in a trendy music market. The first single "Wintertime" is about being a good person, living in a violent neighborhood. "For some people, the key to life is survival and compared to the 90s, not much has changed." Her second single "Feel" is a song about how she feels about the pressures the music industry puts on indie music artists, to fit in and sell to the masses. "I met so many talented music artists, who quit rapping, because they couldn't generate a buzz or sell enough on a grassroots level, to generate a profit to live on."
Rap artists like Sha Stimuli, Stalley, Malz Monday, Marlon Craft, Mick Jenkins, Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, Chris Rivers and Mozzy, are the biggest influences on her music.
