ALLY

Lost in the moment, with your best friends. ALLY is a dynamic, constantly evolving collective of
Dutch musicians, connected through a studio in the woods near Utrecht. Somewhere
between SZA, Little Dragon and The Internet, their music reflects and celebrates the freedom
of escaping to a place where the outside world is a faint echo and anything is possible.

Musicians Sofie Letitre and Ferdy van der Singel form the core of ALLY. The collective
continuously changes in size, shape and form, but the common denominators are artist
friends and an idyllic studio housed in a former rehab facility. Frequent collaborators Nicky
Hustinx, Koen de Jong, Cees Bruinsma and Mischa Porte contributed to the debut album,
along with singer-songwriter Eefje de Visser and HALCYON

Pop and positive, the album deals with themes like friendship, letting go, the timelessness of
youth and escaping to a place where time stops. Where their previous musical projects
explored darker themes, these songs embrace positivity and freedom. ALLY is an ode to
community and human connection. The music is about making you feel good, whether you’re
at a sun soaked festival, a party, or just hanging out. Nobody has to go home, tomorrow can
wait. Just you and your closest allies. Anything is possible.
