Alonzo Wang

In 2000 Alonzo Moved to Toronto Canada from his hometown of Vancouver B.C. with his band to perform in clubs (like Lee’s Palace, El Mocambo, Rivoli etc.) where learned to write and play his own songs. Later on, he was signed to BMG and proceeded to work with the top producers and songwriters across Canada. This process led to Alonzo receiving a certified Platinum and two Gold records for the Canadian Idol winners of the time. In 2006 Alonzo signed a co-publishing deal that to date. Alonzo has been extremely productive since he left the music industry in 2008. For the last decade + Alonzo has been diligently writing songs and honing his skills as a world-class producer. For the last 13 years he has amassed a huge new catalogue that adds to the 97 page SOCAN list of his registered works. This new material is exciting, diverse and includes entire projects that span multiple genres, languages and cultures. Since Alonzo left OLE (Anthem Entertainment), he has continued to book sessions on his own with the likes of Alex Greggs (Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, M.I.A.) and more recently co-wrote and recorded a demo at Alonzo’s “Blue Coyote Studios” with Nashville Country artist Eric Ethridge.
