ALTO

Alto is a French producer with a singular approach to pop and electronic music. He was trained in some of Paris’s major commercial studios during their golden era, where he met many established producers and learned the craft from the inside. That experience gave him a deep understanding of both vintage techniques and forward-thinking production. He was also mentored for several years by Dan Black (The Servant), deepening his sense of songwriting, arrangement, and studio dynamics.
Alongside studio work, Alto built experience on the road touring as a musician and taking on musical direction for several live acts. These live settings sharpened his instinct for emotional flow and arrangement, skills he brings into every production and remix.
His music often plays with space and perspective, melodies suspended in air, layers emerging and disappearing like shifting light. There’s a cinematic quality to his sound, always chasing the tension between intimacy and scale.
After years rooted in the Paris scene, he relocated to Stockholm in early 2025, where he is now setting up his own studio and starting to connect with the Swedish music landscape.
Though mainly known for his work in pop and indie, Alto’s range is wide. He knows how to blend the best of both worlds, analog textures and modern energy to make remixes that feel alive, unexpected, and instantly catchy.
