Alyn Sano is a Rwandan singer and songwriter known for her powerful voice, soul-baring lyrics, and modern African Pop sound. She began her journey in a church choir at 15, later launching her professional career with Naremewe Wowe in 2018. Raised by a single mother alongside four siblings, Alyn channels her story of resilience into music that inspires and empowers.
She’s behind regional hits like Head, Fake Gee, Say Less (ft. Fik Fameica & Sat-B), Tamu Sana, Kontrola (ft. Femi One), and Chop Chop (ft. Bensoul). In 2023, she released her acclaimed debut album, RUMURI — a project rooted in healing and self-belief.
Known for her captivating stage presence and commanding live performances, Alyn has graced top stages including BAL, VicFalls Carnival, Blankets & Wine, Kwita Izina, Women Deliver, FIA, and Giant of Africa. and many more. She also made history as the only Rwandan artist to present an award at the inaugural Trace Awards in 2023.
