ALYSS is everywhere and nowhere all at once - which is exactly the point. The UK-born singer, producer and visual artist builds sonic and visual worlds that feel part transmission, part exorcism. Her music blends electronic-soul with etheric sensitivity; her drawings are abstract constructions, mapped out like alien constellations. Classically trained on the piano and violin, while being raised between a violinist-inventor-astrologer dad and a flamboyant mother who belted Tina Turner at any given moment, she grew up deep in her own head - writing, producing, designing, obsessing. After being signed to PMR Records (Disclosure, Jessie Ware), her 2017 track ‘Pyramid’ went quietly viral five years too late - organically pulling 30+ million streams, earning her a deal with Columbia Records. Since then she’s collaborated with The Blessed Madonna, Thundercat and MJ Cole, scored music for the London Contemporary Orchestra with Abbey Road Studios, and built a cult following for her Astroc0des - hand-drawn, geometric artwork and tattoos based on people’s astrology birth charts. Her sound is intimate but unpolished and her visuals feel like diagrams of a dream you half-remember.
