Alyssa Rose

A small town girl with a wandering soul, Alyssa Rose had been traveling with her guitar for many years before hitting the stage. She kicked off her performing career in the summer of 2015 and has played everything from small, intimate settings like Club Passim in Cambridge, MA to larger venues like The Westcott Theater in Syracuse, NY since. Rose has shared the stage with esteemed, nationally touring artists such as Jackie Greene and Ryan Montbleau as well as other northeast singer-songwriters, Giovanina Bucci and Jessica Novak.

While on her first cross-country tour this past summer, Rose released her debut EP, “Tumbleweed,” recorded with a full band at SubCat Studios in Syracuse, NY. “Tumbleweed” is a collection of country-rock songs, written while living on the road in California. The four tunes accurately depict the bittersweet nature of solo travel.

Rose is always expanding her creative horizons. After playing yoga classes in Costa Rica as well as at Grace Potter’s festival, Grand Point North in Burlington, VT, she discovered a style suitable to that atmosphere.
