Born Mercy Sackey, Ama Nova is a song writer and an Afro pop, High life ,R&B, Soul artiste from Ghana.

The name Ama Nova is coiled from her day of birth Ama which is Saturday and Nova which means popping star

From first note one can not help but embrace a gift of voice and writing skills.

As the only girl of four siblings Ama Nova grew up singing in church where her mom was the Prophetesses and her gift grew from singing with the church choir till date

Professionally, Ama Nova has been in the Ghana music industry for 4 years and has gotten the opportunity to work with some influential artists along the journey.
As her music career keeps rising, her talent has attracted some collaborations from Namibia, south Africa and Jamaica.

To her credit , Ama Nova has two EP’s titled “Black n Blue and currently “HER UNICORN”which can be found on all digital music platforms and all social platforms as well.
Aside her EP, she was nominated for Top entertainment Awards and worn the category “Discovery Song of the year with her song 100 percent.
Also in 2021 she was nominated for the Central Music awards and won the category “Female Vocalist of the Year “ with her fairly hit song Calibre.
Further more ,The songstress Talent has was recognized by The Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and was the only female Nominated for the 2022 vgma unsung category.
In the same 2022, she’s was nominated for the Central Music awards and is now the current Best female artist of the year.
