Hi! I’m Amanda, an indie songwriter and musician from California. I take imaginary scenarios and the conversations I have with myself in my bathroom mirror and turn them into songs :) I write songs for the girlies who have never been in a relationship before, the peacekeepers who get a little frustrated with people sometimes but will never say it out loud, and the quiet but fierce friends who care for their chosen (and biological) family with a love that’s burning red.
Growing up an orchestra/band/theatre/church choir kid, I went on to get my degree in music education from the University of Kentucky. My experiences in classical and church music—along with musical influences from Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, Regina Spektor, dodie, and anything Disney— have shaped my eclectic sound in what has been described as “filled with childlike wonder,” “like we’re in a musical,” and “catchy, with lots of cool harmonies.”
