Amandla de Luz

Amanda Sarah was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, inspired from a young age by the dedication and soulfulness of all kinds of musicians. Singing, dancing, playing guitar and piano from the age of 6, life came alive for her with the vibrations of Reggae, Hip hop, Funk, Blues, Jazz, R and B, Folk, and country music. At the age of 20, her roots grew, and African rhythms called along with the Native American Water drum, hand drum and big drum, the heart of the Native people. For 13 years she devoted her life and musical abilities to learning Native American ceremonial songs and honoring the ancestors and future generations by learning these traditional musical prayers. Amanda's healing journey with sacred music took her to Colombia in 2012 to study with indigenous communities. There, her guitar playing was greatly influenced by the folkloric music of South America , giving her musical sound, roots in the traditions and rhythms of Latin America.  Discovering all the while, through prayer and sacred song and music, her heart of devotion for healing and inspiring people into deeper communion with the Spirit of Love,
