Based in South Florida, Amani Omar credits his natural adaptability and curiosity to his upbringing in an area full of cultural and ideological diversity that taught him to be himself no matter what. Amani got his start recording music in 2017 in the chorus room of his old high school where there was a small studio set up, and since then has blossomed into an intelligent songwriter and powerfully charismatic performer. Influenced by artists like Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, and D’Angelo, Amani combines his love for soulful contemporary R&B with his love of Hip-Hop to create a body of work that uniquely plays in both spheres and strives to uplift and inspire listeners.
