Amari, an Indie Alt/Folk Singer-Songwriter from Grand Prairie, Texas got her start in music attending Booker T. Washington High School For the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas. She has been recognized for many achievements such as a: YoungArts Merit Winner, Pickup Music Emerging Artist Finalist, and many more! Her debut EP titled 'Complications' landed her a spot on NPR North Texas’ Top 20 under 20 Artists in 2018. Her sound has been described as: ethereal, dark, lush, and sometimes haunting blending a mix of folk/soul elements in her voice and music.
