Amber Yholeata is a driven, passionate and charismatic singer and songwriter currently based in Los Angeles.
The Virginia native has been perfecting her special blend of indie pop and R&B and recently set out to complete the works on her debut album, “Chasing Summer”. Featuring executive production by Chris Davis, the album is heavily influenced by 90’s R&B, Pop, Funk and Hip Hop.
“Chasing Summer” is an emotional and relatable collection of songs, written over a very important transitional period for the artist; “I started writing for this project almost two years ago, after having just relocated 3,000 miles across the country to LA from Virginia. The title "Chasing Summer" is in reference to the nostalgia that inspired the writing…I was reflecting on all the experiences and growth I’ve had thus far and felt overwhelmingly grateful, ready to embrace change and take on L.A!”
Through her songwriting, she was able to keep home close to her heart, and as a result, the songs on “Chasing Summer” are uplifting, personal and direct.
