'Ambiance Fork' is the moniker for musician Mark Boniface.
Known mostly as frontman for Brighton UK based Punk Rock act 'Harker', his solo output as 'Ambiance Fork' lands more in the space between noise and harmony. Growing up with a love for all things Post-Rock through bands such as Mogwai, This Will Destroy You & Bark Psychosis led to an introduction towards the neo-classical teachings of Erik Satie, as well as a strong appreciation for the works of modern ambient musicians including Midori Takada, Brian Eno & Tangerine Dream.
'I: Where Others Poison, You Dismember' - the first release under this name was a dedication to the extremities of occult workings, with tracks created to evoke terror in the listener - while 'Digital Environment' was an exploration into the synthesis between modernity and nature. 2021 will see the release of 'Quarters', as well as a sequel to the noise laden walls of the debut EP.
