Jan Gjersvold, Born in 1980. Living in Norway / Trondheim.

I have always been fascinated by music and learned to play the guitar at the age of 12. In 2006 I discovered electronic music and has since 2014 really dedicated my time to produce music. I experiment with Ambient / Chillout / Electronica and I am inspired by artists like Royksopp, Air,Moby, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Massive Attack,Chemical Brothers, Hans Zimmer, Sigur Ros, Air,Pearl jam, Prodygy, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, Danzig,Faithless and many other signed, unsigned contemporary artists.

As an artist, I create by listening from the heart and my soul. I produce music by aural comprehension and let the songs shape to moods and state of minds. My music has shaped itself together with my life path and the existential space within me, which has led me to create music with much atmosphere and depth. For me music is a universal language. Music is also a universal way to communicate where it's all about listening. Music does not have a fixed template or framework to reach out to people. Frequencies and notes decides who is listening, the artist can not determine their audience and this makes music into freedom.

I use an Imac with Logic pro x, Komplete Kontrol S88, Omnisphere Creative, Omnisphere, Omnisphere Keyscape, Alchemy,Vocalise,Komplete Full 5, Valhalla Shimmer plus a whole lot more good tool to create my music.
