At age 8, he taught himself how to play by listening to the radio and transposing his favorite tunes by ear. By age 13, he was writing songs for his first band as the lead singer and guitarist. As he gained experience, Ambrose was invited to perform at local venues and radio shows. After studying music in university, Ambrose moved to New York City to pursue his passion of writing and performing.
