Amelia Rodriques

For Amelia Rodriques creativity is something that comes naturally, every thought, every
movement has a creative flair, and it’s been like that from a very young age. The desire to
nurture and develop this talent has been Amelia’s lifelong dream and something unescapable
as its embedded in her family.
Amelia can be best described as “living in a musical” always singing
and dancing at every given chance.

Amelia naturally gravitated to the sounds of Jazz,
Rnb and gospel, but being Amelia, she also felt inspired by soft rock, and pop music. This also inspired Amelia to write, as she fell in love with English language and
literature, using these skills to write poems, which were then adapted and rewritten into songs.

It wasn’t until Amelia was 15 and started studying
Applied Theatre at the Brit School had she realised that she wanted to be a solo artist and
wanted to create music for change; music that has a narrative and is relatable to others. Since
then, Amelia had released her first single “I Got You” which can be heard on all streaming
platforms. This is a feel-good mash up that can be best described as ‘vibes’, Amelia just wants
people to feel good and dance and this song allows you to just escape and do that. In a sense
Amelia would describe this as escaping into your own musical and that’s all she wants for her
fans. Amelia is hoping to release more music, truly find herself as an artist and never forget
that her imagination is her only restriction.
