Amélie is a Franco-Australian, London-based singer-songwriter whose work sits at the intersection of emotional introspection and sharp observation of the world around her. Her writing explores the nuances of power dynamics — between individuals, within systems, and within ourselves — moving between vulnerability and control, complicity and resistance. Her work leans into ambiguity, often laced with dark humour and a quiet, self-aware detachment.

Raised on a small tropical island, she developed an early sensitivity to the textures, colours and rhythms of nature — a sensibility that continues to shape her artistic world. Alongside her music, Amélie is a trained biologist who works across international environmental and human rights policy. Her day-to-day work exposes her to complex and often uncomfortable realities, sharpening her attention to human instincts and contradictions. Music emerges as a parallel space — a way of processing and reframing what she sees.

Sombre Maze, Amélie’s debut release, marks the beginning of the Colour Bound project — introducing a body of work that will continue to unfold throughout 2026.
