Amen Mustang is the new solo project for <a href="spotify:artist:6t0fb7aF6Up71YWYuAA9WP" data-name="Jenny Broke the Window">Jenny Broke the Window</a> singer, Sam Lathlean. Inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:09K1H1DgyIXHsMx2j7KTFX" data-name="Mystery Jets">Mystery Jets</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0Z5pcmXDCKTrFWLnDChC37" data-name="Miami Horror">Miami Horror</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0vW8z9pZMGCcRtGPGtyqiB" data-name="The Maccabees">The Maccabees</a>, their sound is dynamic, edgy and charged with samples, dance drum patterns, and layered vocals. After <a href="spotify:artist:6t0fb7aF6Up71YWYuAA9WP" data-name="Jenny Broke the Window">Jenny Broke the Window</a> went their separate ways in 2018 Lathlean went to London to consider his next move. Very quickly he realised that he wasn’t done with music.
“I think the main thing missing was that feeling of writing a chorus, or a riff, or whatever…and at the end of the day sitting down with my headphones and listening back to it - that’s a pretty good feeling, puts me in a good mood.”

Debut single “Someone To Somebody” is both euphoric & sweet with an indelible sense of longing.
"Someone to Somebody" is a bit of a love letter to a fictional crush. I don't believe that everyone has only one potential true love, not everything happens for a reason. A lot of life instances are determined by time and place. Everyone is someone to somebody. This song kind of hints to the idea of falling in love with someone you haven't even met yet, and how they've already existed in this world to other people.” – Sam Lathlean / Amen Mustang
