Allow me to introduce myself my name is Maurice Scruggs, But I go by the name of “AmillionBuk” Or Buk For Short . Im a underground rap/hiphop artist from South Philadelphia. I was born October 3rd 1988 at Jefferson Hospital with two older brothers and three older sisters, I was the youngest of six growing up for me was ruff I never had the newest clothes the most money and at times it was even hard for my mom too keep a roof over our heads but I always made the best of things never letting the bad times bring me down but instead it made me stronger. I never really was into playing sports but I always had a passion for music growing up I would always fall asleep listening too the radio some of my favorite artist were lauryn Hill,Big,Jayz,and DMX just to name a few. I always knew I wanted too make music and that one day I wanted to let people hear me rap but I was always the quiet and shy type that kept most things about myself inside I didn’t start writing and recording music until I was about 14,15 years old just seeing how real life was for me at such a young age made me want to make a change it motivated me to take my music serious and once I seen what I could do musically it just made me feel like hope was alive and that I could really go far if I stuck too it and stay committed.
