Amir Atabak started his career as a rock guitar player and composer in the "Rational Sound" band in Tehran, Iran, in 2003. Amir was influenced by bands and artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Alan Parson, Feed Me, Deadmouse, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Tiesto, and Deep Forest.
In 2005 he immigrated to study in Pune, India, but most of the time, he spent in сlubs in Pune and Goa. "Since we brought DJ Amir, the number of customers visiting the club has increased by 60 percent", reported the owner of one of the clubs Amir was a resident of. Amit Atabak says: "For one year, I played in a tiny club with the biggest crowd of 30 people. I didn't have enough money to buy DJ headphones. My brother Babak sent me a Stanton 2000 from Canada, my first guitar, and the keyboard he purchased for me. My brother is the main reason I can continue."
In 2017 he immigrated with his wife Samira to Canada to follow up on his dream.
