Amlan

Amlan is a DJ and electronic music producer. He has come a long way in very little time, from his first international gig at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE 2018) to release his first indie electronic dance album 'Meglo' on July 12, 2020. The album is inspired by Bollywood films from the late 90s, each track tries to combine some of the most unique ideas into dark, cinematic, and groovy sounds with a strong influence of Balearic House Music and sounds from the Indian Subcontinent.


His music flows across diversified genres, powered by groovy bass lines, warm melodies, percussive breaks complemented by a plethora of folk samples from across the world. Amlan’s versatility and the indefinable mixes are suited for an electrifying time on the dance floor or an intimate and serene experience.


With a vision to popularise the sounds of India in electronic music, he began producing his own tracks, unheeding traditional EDM. His releases and collaborations with other artists have gained consistent attention from Rolling Stones India and Spotify, featuring numerous tracks in their editorial playlists. The Rolling Stones covered his debut EP, ‘Captivate’ stating it to be a slick and immersive debut EP. ‘Riyadh’ one of his popular releases with Mumbai based Record Label Nrtya has also been featured on ‘Lakme Fashion Week’ 2018 & 2019 after-movie
