Among The Abyss

Among the Abyss is a Metalcore band from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2012. Early in their career, the band made a significant impact with their hit songs "From Rise to Fall" and "Clarkefield" which quickly became cult favorites in the Melbourne metalcore scene. Their music, characterized by early 2000s metalcore influences and heavy breakdowns, gained them recognition nationwide, as they performed extensively across Australia.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the band went on hiatus for over eight years. However, in 2024, they reemerged with renewed motivation, a revamped lineup, and a fresh direction that blends Nu Metal with their signature metalcore sound. This evolution marks a bold step in pushing the boundaries of their music.

In September 2024, Among the Abyss released their comeback single, "Bluestone" featuring Andrew Wallace of Mortuary Sickness. This track, their first in over a decade, serves as the lead single from their upcoming self-titled album, *Among the Abyss* set for release in 2025.
