Formed in early 2012, the band released their debut EP, Terminal two years later. It Djents reviewed and claimed: “they have a killer sense of cohesion when it comes to changing tempo and synchronizing the curves of their sound.” A year later, the site made Amputecht their weekly featured artist with the release of their single, “Somniphobia.”
Having played from Long Island, New York to Erie, Pennsylvania, Amputecht is spreading their emotionally charged, yet technical brand of extreme music across the Northeast and beyond. They have shared the stage with a number of genre headliners such as Polyphia, Monuments, Hands Like Houses, CHON, Tides of Man, and Covet. These Western New York veterans have hundreds of performances in their respective resumes. Amputecht has arrived—determined to make their mark in today’s thriving international scene of progressive music.
