AMQU

AMQU is a band comprised of brothers Augusto, Alonso, and Adrian Miró Quesada, based in Lima, Peru. Augusto works as a film director and Alonso works as a film & VFX artist, Adrian is a fully-fledged musician. They all share a deep passion for music. Rooted in the American music that shaped their childhoods, the brothers seek to capture the indie pop, rock, and funk vibes of the early to late 2000s.

Their debut studio album High on Feeling, which expanded in scope as production unfolded, collaborates with some of Peru's top recording musicians to realize AMQU's envisioned sound.

The addition of music producer Luca Payet was pivotal in transforming the songs from demos into finished products. Marco Castañeda contributed his masterful guitar work. Chiara Urdaneta and Paloma Poggione provided essential backing vocals. Lastly, the legendary Devadip Chunga's drumming provided the heartbeat of the record, and Bertrand Larrieu's bass lines anchored the songs.

At its essence, High on Feeling is a concept album brimming with depth and symbolism, aiming to offer listeners meaningful insights into the nature of love & relationships. Each song tackles a different facet of love, meticulously sequenced to narrate a cohesive story while guiding us through emotional peaks and valleys.

High on Feeling was created as a love letter to everyone, but especially to those going through the emotional rollercoaster that is experiencing life and love in your 20s.
