Amuck Indstrl

James Sanchez aka Amuck_Indstrl is a Mexican American who grew up with a passion for art and drawing. He started with drawing anime, and later discovered graffiti in his teenage years. Graffiti art eventually became a problem when he started joining crews and began affiliating himself with gang members. After a few years of getting in trouble with the law, James decided to redirect his love for art into music


James has now been producing and playing Techno under the name Amuck since 2013. AMUCK based in Los Angeles; style ranges from 135-160 bpm, mostly in the form of Hard Industrial Techno but will sometimes incorporate hypnotic and dark harmonic melodic elements.


AMUCK’s first release, a remix with Chemtrailz of Ayako mori – “Gegen Dungeon” on Physical Techno Records, was played by Charlotte De Witte on her livestream celebrating her No. 1 spot for the second year in a row for DJ Mag 100 on October 27, 2021.


AMUCK also recently won the “Upcoming DJ” competition for RE/FORM. The set he submitted included 4 original unreleased ID tracks and was chosen as the winner by all three collectives unanimously.


AMUCK has several releases on Physical Techno Records, a joint 4 track EP with Kill Your Idols and now his latest release is on M:31 Recordings, a remix called “The Attitude Is The Sound”. He also has an EP with M:31 entitled “No Raves Allowed” with remixes by Kill Your Idols, PATHWAY PAT, and PANICK, scheduled for July 1, 2022.
