Amy Reeve is a Singer/Songwriter form Norfolk. She blends acoustic with alt-pop with her new EP out at the end of 2023.
As a child she had a love for music and wanted to follow in her dad's footsteps of being a musician. She started playing guitar as a hobby in 2012 after her dad decided she needed something to do after the passing of her mother. She started taking lessons from a close friend's mum but stopped a few months later due to changing schools in early 2013. She kept singing but didn't pick up the guitar again until March 2018. She fell back in love with music and has continued to pursue it as a full time job. She played a few small shows in between 2018 and 2021 mainly jam sessions at The Brickmakers and a charity talent show that was recorded and posted online where she got into the final. When she started to work at the Ram Inn in June 2021 she started to play gigs supporting Lee Vasey. She continued to support Lee until she was asked to host her own band/artist night in february where she headlined. Since then she has hosted an all acoustic band night.
Her sound is very similar to Ed Sheeran when she is by herself but when she is with other people she takes a more rock/indie approach to her music. She has written original songs and is working on her debut EP ‘Odd Socks’ that is due to be released at the end of 2023. This EP features popular songs that she has written such as ‘Summer Sky’ and ‘17 Miles’.
